Agreement
By accessing or using PrepPage at www.preppage.in (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service
PrepPage provides educational tools, including AI-assisted multiple-choice practice derived from NCERT-style textbook content, quizzes, progress tracking, bookmarks, and optional multiplayer Arena challenges. Features may change, be limited, or require sign-in.
Accounts
You may need an account (via Clerk and, where enabled, Google or other providers) for certain features. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information where requested.
AI-generated content
Practice questions and explanations may be produced by AI. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated phrasing. The Service is a study aid, not a substitute for your textbook, teacher, or official exam materials. Always verify critical facts against authoritative sources (including NCERT and your syllabus).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload our systems or bypass security
- Scrape, resell, or redistribute bulk generated content or circumvent rate limits
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
- Use the output to cheat on assessments where prohibited by your institution or exam rules
Intellectual property
NCERT and publisher trademarks and textbook content remain with their respective owners. PrepPage’s branding, software, and original presentation are protected. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (for example, Clerk for auth, cloud and AI providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their portions of the experience.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPPAGE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (₹100), WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW.
Indemnity
You will defend and hold harmless PrepPage from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that risks the Service or other users, or for legal or operational reasons.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections. Courts at a competent venue in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, where permitted.
Changes
We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
