Terms of Service

Agreement

PrepPage™ at www.preppage.in (the “Service”) is operated by PrepPage EdTech Private Limited, a company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 (“PrepPage”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

PrepPage provides educational tools, including AI-assisted multiple-choice practice derived from NCERT-style textbook content, quizzes, progress tracking, bookmarks, and optional multiplayer Arena challenges. Features may change, be limited, or require sign-in.

Accounts

You may need an account (via Clerk and, where enabled, Google or other providers) for certain features. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information where requested.

An account is for one student. Paid access may not be shared, sold, or used by more than one person. If we find an account being shared, we may suspend or end it, and paid access lost this way is not refunded.

Students under 18

If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and a parent or guardian must make or approve any purchase. By completing a purchase for a student under 18, the parent or guardian accepts these Terms on the student’s behalf.

High-Probability Exam Questions

Practice questions and explanations may be automatically generated. They may contain errors, omissions, or outdated phrasing. The Service is a study aid, not a substitute for your textbook, teacher, or official exam materials. Always verify critical facts against authoritative sources (including NCERT and your syllabus).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Attempt to probe, disrupt, or overload our systems or bypass security
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute bulk generated content or circumvent rate limits
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
• Use the output to cheat on assessments where prohibited by your institution or exam rules

Payments, plans and renewals

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees on the pricing page at checkout and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

• Pro Monthly renews every month through UPI AutoPay until you cancel it, for up to 12 months per mandate. You can cancel at any time from your UPI app, or by writing to us. Once cancelled, no further debits are made and Pro stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for.
• Pro Yearly is a single payment for 12 months of access. It does not renew automatically.
• Test series (such as Velocity) are a single payment that gives access to the tests, ranks and solutions of that series until the access date shown at purchase.
• Mentor sessions are paid per session and booked for a specific time slot.

We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for, and does not change the amount of a monthly AutoPay mandate that is already running.

Refunds and cancellations

Paid plans give immediate access to digital content, so purchases are not refundable for a change of mind or for access left unused. Please use the free tier first to decide whether PrepPage suits you. We will refund you in full in these cases:

• You were charged twice for the same purchase, or money was debited but the purchase failed.
• Monthly AutoPay debited you after you had cancelled it.
• A paid feature does not work for you because of a fault on our side, and we cannot fix it within 7 days of you reporting it.
• A mentor session is cancelled by us or the mentor and we cannot offer you another slot that suits you.

Some situations are handled differently:

• Wrong plan bought: write to us within 7 days of purchase and we will move you to another plan instead. You pay any difference, and if the new plan costs less we refund the difference.
• Test series: a test moved to a new date is not grounds for a refund. If we cancel tests in a series and do not hold them, we refund the share of the price for the tests not held.
• Mentor sessions: to move a session, write to us at least 24 hours before it starts. A session missed without notice is not refunded.
• Monthly AutoPay: cancelling stops future debits. The month already paid for is not refunded, and Pro stays active until it ends.

How to ask: email product@preppage.in from the email on your account, with the Razorpay payment ID (from your payment receipt) and what went wrong. We reply within 2 working days. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method and usually reaches you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank. Access bought with a refunded payment ends when the refund is issued.

Chargebacks: please write to us before raising a dispute with your bank or UPI app; most problems are fixed faster that way. While a dispute is open we may pause the paid access it covers.

Nothing in this section limits any right to a refund you have under Indian consumer protection law.

Intellectual property

NCERT and publisher trademarks and textbook content remain with their respective owners. PrepPage’s branding, software, and original presentation are protected. You receive a limited, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (for example, Clerk for auth, cloud and AI providers). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their portions of the experience.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PREPPAGE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED INDIAN RUPEES (₹100), WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnity

You will defend and hold harmless PrepPage from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that risks the Service or other users, or for legal or operational reasons.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protections. Courts at a competent venue in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, where permitted.

Changes

We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
