Who we are

PrepPage (“we”, “us”) operates the website and service at www.preppage.in (the “Service”), including AI-assisted practice questions from NCERT textbooks, quizzes, bookmarking, and optional multiplayer Arena mode.

Account and authentication

Sign-in is provided by Clerk. If you choose “Continue with Google” (or another social provider Clerk offers), Google (or that provider) processes your login according to their own policies. We receive account identifiers and profile details that Clerk passes through (for example, to create your session).

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:

• Account data: Information from Clerk tied to your account (such as user ID, email where provided, and sign-in metadata).
• Learning activity: Data you generate on the Service, including question attempts, bookmarks, last-read page, quiz and arena outcomes, and related timestamps—stored in our database so progress syncs across devices when you are signed in.
• Technical and usage data: Server logs, approximate usage and product analytics events (for example, to understand feature usage and improve reliability). Session heartbeats may be used for operational metrics (such as active session estimates on the public landing page).
• Content you submit: Feedback or reports you send about questions, and any text you choose to include.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide, operate, and secure the Service
• Remember your progress, bookmarks, and preferences where you enable them
• Improve quality and fix bugs
• Comply with law and enforce acceptable use

AI and third-party services

Some features use AI providers (for example, Google Gemini) to generate or process question text. When you request generation, relevant page or prompt content is sent to the provider to produce a response. Those providers process data under their terms and privacy policies.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our vendors (including Clerk) use cookies and similar technologies needed for authentication, security, and basic site function. Refer to Clerk’s documentation for auth-related cookies.

Retention

We retain information as long as needed to run the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data may be kept longer.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices

Where applicable, you may access, update, or delete certain account data through your Clerk account profile or by contacting us. If you need help with data tied to your PrepPage usage, email product@preppage.in.

Children

The Service is intended for students and learners. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected personal information from a child in a way that concerns you, contact us at the address below.

International transfers

We may process and store information in India and other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that data may be transferred across borders with appropriate safeguards where required.
